Company Profile

Citta Microelectronics was founded in 2014 in Nanjing, mainly developing millimeter wave (mmW) system on chip (SoC) for ACC radars and wireless communications. The designers of Citta-M have been working on silicon based mmW SoCs from the very beginning of this research area, and have contributed a lot of know-hows to the world. They have designed the first 60GHz silicon based wireless transceiver SoCs in Europe, and the first mixed-signal 122GHz radar was developed in the world. This low-cost compact radar can be used in cars, drones etc., making lots of fancy applications possible.

After strong developing efforts, Citta-M has successfully developed 4 SoC sollutions, covering the area of 77GHz ACC radars, millimeterwave body imaging chipsets, measurement instrumentations and K/Ku band phased-array SoCs for 5G mobile communications and low-orbit Satcom applications. The 77GHz radar SoC is used for ACC radars, blind spot detections etc., was packaged in wafer level fan-out packge. This is the first ACC radar SoC developed in mainland China, which will contribute to local industries. This SoC has a completed different architecture compared to other ACC radar chips but with similar performance or even better in some specifications, making it unique of its kind.

Besides mmW transceiver SoCs, Citta-M focuses on a few other areas, such as mmW phased array ICs, ultra-wideband analog signal processing, 5G communication IC. The products include K, Ku and Ka band beamforming SoCs, high speed data aquisations, and analog processing ICs, etc.

Citta M is working from 5GHz to 500GHz frequency range for radars, communications, high-end measurement instrumentations. We welcome those partners who want to have their own dedicated ICs or SoCs, and we welcome those partners who can help us to promote our marckets.
